In this outdoor musical event, Carlos del Pino (bassist) and his three-piece band Sones de Cuba, featuring the legendary Cuban sonero and percussionist Chico Alvarez and guitarist Ben Lapidus, perform in solidarity with the thousands of artists and musicians participating in the freedom marches throughout Cuba. The recital will be held at St Benedict’s Courtyard. Co-presented with Revelation Gallery, it also marks the last night of the exhibition Urban Narratives: Havana to New York, watercolors of old Havana by John Emmett Connors.
